Role Requirements Classification

In line with OVPUE policy, Hardware Lifecycle replacements are restricted to standard, approved models. Below is a list of requirements classifications that apply to various OVPUE staff roles. During the lifecycle replacement process, each department is asked to classify their staff positions into one of these categories.

When your department is ready to work with OVPUE IT on your equipment order, be sure to provide your rationale for any staff whose work is classified as "Standard Mobile," "Data-Intensive," or "Data-Intensive Mobile." This rationale will be reviewed by OVPUE administration and the Business office and we will be in communication with you about any clarifications necessary. Deviations from the hardware options are generally not permitted.
